Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2

I am not a professional movie critic but I am a movie fan, however, there are only so many movies that I will go to the cinema to shell out 11 euro for a ticket and 14 euro for popcorn combo to watch. One of these movies is Guardians of the Galaxy… After the first film completely blew my mind there was no question that when Guardians of the Galaxy volume 2 came out I would be in the cinema seat with popcorn in hand!

I am very happy to say that for me anyway the sequel did not disappoint. It was action packed, full of hilarious one liners and even the torment of possible romance sparked with heart wrenching drama, what more could you ask for! The team were back in action along to another epic soundtrack that I will also be investing in. Without giving away too much the basic premise of this movie is to uncover mystery and defeat someone very close to Peter Quills heart in order to serve as the heroes of not just this planet but all planets. Chris Pratt is back as Peter Quill aka Star Lord along with the gorgeous Zoe Saldana as Gamora, the hilarious Rocket and Drax played by Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista also come back to join the fun. Vin Diesel playing the adorable Baby Groot which I for some reason find very funny, I was also pleasantly surprised to see Sean Gunn star alongside Michael Rooker who plays Yondu. For those of you who don’t know Sean Gunn he plays Kirk in the Gilmore Girls, it was great to see him play a completely different character in Kraglin and would love to see more opportunities for him the future as I fell in love with his kind hearted character in the Gilmore Girls much like I fell in love with the show!

Both worth a watch…
