Santa Eulalia Hotel and Spa

This past week I had the pleasure to stay at the Santa Eulalia Hotel and Spa in Albufeira. The hotel is so big and still so clean. We checked in at around 1pm on Friday and were given a nice cosy room on the first floor with a BIG double bed and a separate sitting area with a couch and table and chairs then another small kitchen area and a good sized bathroom. Behind great thick blackout curtains was the balcony overlooking a car park as we didn’t pay the extra to overlook the pool area but maybe next time we will for that extra little touch.

Every day we went to the pool area and had absolutely no problem securing a sunbed as there are plenty to go around. There is a separate pool for kids which I liked as sometimes they can splash a lot so I was well away from that and there was a lovely member of staff everyday who would interact with us and put on games like table tennis competitions and do pool aerobics which I took part in and really enjoyed. We had drinks aswell which were very good value for such a nice hotel, the food was also great value. I had chicken nuggets and chips as snacks one of the days and I can’t stop thinking about them since they were so good.

The hotel itself is right beside a spar and a little bits and bobs shop aswell as café and bar then just down the road are restaurants and more bars. About a ten minute walk is the beach and the new town with lots of shops, cafes etc. It’s the perfect place to stay that’s central but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the town.

I can’t wait to book my next holiday here and stay back at the Santa Eulalia Hotel and Spa and would recommend it to anyone 🙂
